Continuing from the first forum held in Baghdad on 18/4/2024
The “Naram Sin Dialogue Foundation” contributed to holding the Iraqi-Turkish Research Centers Intellectual Forum in Ankara, under the auspices of the Center for Middle Eastern Studies (ORSAM) and with the attendance of a number of Iraqi centers. The forum witnessed a remarkable attendance of prominent figures, including the Chargé d'Affaires at the Iraqi Embassy, Mr. Younis Al-Jubouri, and the Prime Minister’s Advisor on Turkish Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Al-Jumaili. The participants addressed strategic, political, and cultural issues of concern to the Middle East region and Iraqi-Turkish relations, and discussed the future of the region, focusing on the importance of academic and intellectual cooperation in facing common challenges.
The attendees praised the role played by the “Naram Sen” Center in promoting dialogue and creating spaces for elites among different parties, stressing that this cooperation “represents a model of fruitful partnerships in serving the issues of the region.”
It is worth mentioning that this forum comes as a continuation of “Naram Sen’s” efforts to create platforms for communication and to promote common values in light of regional and international transformations.
